Richard Anton:
Director
Richard is a partner at Amadeus, where he specializes in communication and software related opportunities. Since joining in 1998, Richard has taken the lead in many investments. Today, Richard is an active council member of the British Venture Capital Association, serves as Chair of the BVCA venture capital committee, and serves as a non-executive director on several boards.
Prior to Amadeus, Richard worked as a management consultant, a hands-on finance and business development executive and a turnaround manager. Entering venture capital in 1994 he joined Apax Partners, where he made a number of early stage investments, including Neurodynamics and Autonomy. Richard was subsequently employed as director of business development and finance at these companies.
Richard holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA and MA in Mathematics from Christ’s College, Cambridge. He speaks French.
